Catalogue Note

A second bodhisattva of the princely type, sterner than No. I: the moustache is full and turned up at the ends, the brow is bound with a braided band, and the turban rises into a single large knot at the top of the head.

The finish is darker than most of the heads here, with a reddish-brown tone over the grey. It pairs well with No. I if you have room for two.
